The paper I wrote together with the Ph.D students at the IAI at Bremen University, on using image-schematic event segmentation for error-handling in uncertain environments for cognitive robotics has been accepted for publication at the conference Knowledge Capture held in 2-3 December.

AI-dagen (AI-day) in Jönköping

Jönköping University is organising the AI-day on Thursday September 30th, as part of the research and industry collaboration project AI Readiness.

I’ve had the honour to be invited to participate as a faculty representative to the event to help to moderate the invited talks together with journalist Johan Wangström.

The event is free to follow online but note that it will be held in Swedish.

Confirmed: JOWO 2022 in Jönköping

At the IAOA meeting Yesterday, mine and Karl Hammar’s application to organise JOWO 2022 in Jönköpimg was approved.

JOWO is the joint ontology workshops and have been run in eight editions. We are very excited to have this opportunity and look forward seeing you there next year!

Paper accepted at ICCC 2021

A paper we wrote on impossible blends and noun-noun compound words has been accepted for publication at the International Computational Creativity Conference held in September.

The paper has the title Deciphering The Cookie Monster: A case study in impossible combinations and is written by

New position

Despite having a wonderful learning experience at Bremen University, in August, I will start a new position as a tenured assistant professor (Lektor) at Jönköping Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (JAIL), at Jönköping University.

I am sad to leave my current research group, but excited to see what comes next.
